Gingivoplasty

A minor surgical procedure during which we remove excess gums that cover all or specific teeth in the dental arch, thus rendering them shorter and the smile less aesthetically attractive. Such a smile is called a gummy smile, and this procedure will help return a smile on your face. 

With a certain percentage of patients, part of the bone also needs to be removed in order to obtain a harmonious appearance, wherefore we also perform an osteotomy. 

A gingivectomy procedure magnifies the clinical crown of the tooth and raises the level of the smile.
